You can't take the Ohio out of the girl... RSS

I'm from Ohio, and will always say that, even as the years I've been living in Dallas fly by. This blog is for my family and friends out of state, who I see far too little of. And anyone else who cares what I ate for dinner and did last weekend. If you want to contact me, feel free at jecgirlie@gmail.com. Have a happy day!

Our wedding was perfect (because any perceived imperfection simply doesn’t bother you on your wedding day) and full of love and emotion.  It was amazing to have both of our families and friends together for the whole weekend.  I can’t wait to see the professional pictures, because the pictures from friends have been amazing.  The whole thing went by so quickly that I don’t remember much except telling myself to concentrate and not miss anything, and dancing, dancing, dancing.  And Matthew.  We never left eachother’s side after we were united on Saturday.

Best friends, Harry and Matt. Great view of Harry’s 2 remaining front teeth. One and a half, rather. He’s a goody old boy!

We are heading to dinner with our favorite guys from The Petropolitan. They suggested the Dallas Fish Market, which I saw was voted Best Seafood in The Observer….sounds good to me!

Matthew telling me about a friend's baby being in the office today...

  • M: "Lucas was in the office today!"
  • J: "Aawww, did you hold him?"
  • M: "No, would you want a stranger holding you? I touched him though."
  • J: "Um...you touched him?"
  • M: "Yeah, I touched his arm. I poked him."
  • J: "You POKED him?!"
  • M: "I thought I did good! When Lauren was leaving I sort of poked his arm and said Bye Buddy. I think he liked it. I also interacted with him."
  • J: "Interacted, huh?"
  • M: "Yes, I encouraged him to sit up and roll over. I was a few feet away from him."
  • J: "Ha! That's nice. And thank you for letting me know the distance you were from him."
