I feel like a grown up. Sort of. I feel like...
We are looking at houses now. We did on Sunday, and we are tonight. So we are officially looking. A realtor is coming to assess our home (Matt’s home) on Thursday to put it on the market. I have no idea what I am doing. I just trust the grown up in the relationship, Matthew, to make the money decisions, and I get to say yes or no to houses we view. It’s fun! And scary.
Matt and I are heading to our first required premarital counseling session. 50 minutes, $120. What??? I am going to see if my health insurance will cover it. And then I am going back to school to become a counselor. Apparently they do quite well.
I just made my mom’s tzatziki sauce and baked some pita crisps and it was gooooood.

Yay! I just bought a case of fleece blankets (50 x 60) with our Tzedukah money that we collect each Friday night (Shabbat). Coco and Harry love the few fleece blankets we have laying around. They bunch them up on the floor and make nests and curl up right in the middle. We are giving these blankets to the Dallas City Animal Services Shelter because that is where we got Coco, and they are in...

Matt and I are staying in tonight (what’s new - it’s Friday night in). We made a delicious dinner…salmon/feta/spinach burgers without the bun, spinach and carrot salad with Garlic Expressions, hummus and whole wheat pitas, and a cheese plate featuring smoked gouda, manchego, and blue cheese with fig spread, olives, and marcona almonds. Matt and I will not be drinking alcohol. I had to write it out so that I am held more accountable for this deal. He has accomplished this detox the past 2 years. I flatly refused the first time I was aware of his yearly detox, and then gave up after 10 days last year. I remember sitting in Cru wine bar whining (how appropriate) that he was no fun because I wanted a wine and independent film...
Yeah, so the alcohol detox will have to start tomorrow. I like champagne :)
