Cleveland Fires Back At Web Videos Mocking The... →
Absolutely hilarious, and sad…but nonetheless I would still move back to Cleveland if the opportunity arose! To the suburbs, though ;)
This is one of those weeks where I feel like I could just skip it. The whole thing. Monday was great, because of the holiday, and 2 days later I still can’t get into the swing of things. I don’t feel like working, I don’t feel like exercising, I don’t feel like walking the dogs. I don’t feel like reading a book or the paper, I don’t feel like talking on the...
The Truth About Diet Soda - MSN Health & Fitness -... →
nutritionista:
THANK YOU. People need to realize that diet pop (er sorry, “soda” for most of you) is nasty AND there’s nothing “diet” about it.

I didn’t pay attention to the entire season, btw, but I always get teary eyed at a finale. No matter what. Even with Biggest Loser - never watch a single episode, but if I catch the finale I cry at their inspiring stories. I am such a wet noodle.
Fergie is crazy looking on A Idol! But she sounds great live, and that’s all that matters.
Matt and I just dropped off some food to the Dallas Humane Society that we received in swag bags at our last two dog events. We came into the yard to see some of the dogs, and there was a TEENY 6 week old puppy that someone threw over the fence last night. Yes, they said threw, since the fence is 8 feet high. Sad and typical. He is chocolate brown colored with light blue grey eyes and his...
Oh weekend...I wish you weren't almost over.
My toes still hurt from my cute new peep toe stilettos last night. I need to put some flower petal pads in them to keep my feet from sliding forward and getting smooshed. Matt and I went to dinner with Ryan and her new boy, Scott, who was very nice. We went to Bella, of course, to support Tony, and it was delish. After dinner we went to Hully and Mo’s to meet a group for Amy’s 35th...
I probably cursed angrily a little too freely for my mother’s tastes yesterday sooo….delete!
I am seriously emotionally drained and not feeling like myself at all. Selling your house is a ridiculous game of shit played by shitty people who have the ability to make or break you. No one looks out for your best interests except you. I want to curse a long string of expletives and not stop for hours or until my voice gives out. I have felt like this all day. Cursing is the only thing...
This is what I am doing tonight. I like the part... →
I'm putting it out there...into the universe.
I believe we will receive an offer on our house tonight. I believe it will be a good offer, and not ridiculously low-ball. I believe we will accept, perhaps after a bit of friendly negotiations. Or perhaps we will just accept and be happy with it. I really believe this will happen tonight. Positive energy, please.
I just got invited to a book signing for a book on Tablescapes…how to create beautiful table settings, or some crap like that, by a very nice girl (she really is) that is a stay-at-home mom who has a nanny raising her kid so she can write books like this and have book signings. Oh and the book signing is 11:30am - 2:30pm on Friday, when I, um, have to work. Like most women my age who...
Lazy me.
All I want to do is lay on the couch and catch up on the New York Times. I never seem to have the time to relax with a cup of coffee and the paper on a Sunday morning. The doggies and the fiance inhibit my favorite routine that I took with me from my parents’ home. But I love our weekend morning walks together, and I don’t even miss the Sunday paper on Sunday…it’s just...
Yeah, so we didn't get to see the inside of the...
Broker was busy or something. Perhaps later this weekend or next week. We did drive by, though. It scares me when they don’t post pictures of the inside of the house on the broker’s site. Especially in older homes, which I love, but which can require boatloads of work and money if not kept up over the years. The neighborhood is nice, and where we think we want to be for kids in...
(Pumpkin) Spice up Your Yogurt!
Mom,
this recipe is for you…yum!
nutritionista:
Reader Staci sent in this recipe for a healthy take on pumpkin pie. Since that’s one of my favorite pies EVER, I will definitely have to give it a try. I’d use walnuts instead of pecans because they’re lower fat and offer more nutritional value:
So you take 0% fat greek yogurt (I did 1/2 cup) pumpkin (I used 3 tbsp) some cinnamon and...
