The decision to send Happy New Year cards instead of both Hanukkah and Christmas cards, or even just plain old holiday cards, is once again such a GREAT decision. Pats on my back for cutting myself a break. This timesaver is a big deal this year because I have exactly one weekend to pull Christmas together before I am in Orlando next weekend and fly to Ohio for the holiday the following weekend....

On the flight home to Dallas. The rest of the weekend was great. I am exhausted. Darn these holidays - good only for fun, not for catching up on rest :)
Security was nothing to speak of at the airport (What was all the conversation and fuss about?), and now I’m having fun with Wifi on the plane. It makes the Texas to New York flight so much more bearable! Well, that and all my Kate Middleton princess-to-be magazines. Such fun :)

So we are still working on our new house. And will be for quite some time. But I feel like we are over a hump in the process. Vicki has to come back with the vent covers and drawer slides, the air ducts need to be repaired/replaced, the vent cleaners will come again once that happens, the windows need to be replaced, eventually we will redo the old bathrooms, the new light fixtures need to be...

Today after we were called up to the Torah to have our marriage blessed (which was very lovely and happily said by Rabbi Robbins), we were congratulated by the people around us. ”Mazel Tov!
