We just made a last minute decision to run to Best Buy to get the Xbox 360 Kinect. They are out of turn tables for DJ Hero, so now we’re on a mad dash to Fry’s to pick one up before they close. We will be bowling and DJing it up as we celebrate the new year at home. I might have my arm twisted into some NBA Jams too…

-grabbed lunch and stocked up on wine at Whole Foods,
-dropped off donations from my Angel Tree location to Animal Rescue of Texas,
-picked up doggy treats at City Pet Supply,
-mailed something at the overly priced UPS store,
-attempted to wash Smalls’ paws in the laundry sink...

Heading up to Ann Arbor for lunch today before we pick up my husband at the Detroit airport. It will be nice for my sister to have a bit of nostalgia, as she just moved from Ann Arbor in September and misses it. I have had a sinus thingy going on since I arrived in the cold Midwest, and I hope walking around outside doesn’t exacerbate it. It can’t make it any worse than sitting here...
I’ve been in Ohio since Sunday night and I haven’t felt like posting much. Or calling any of my local friends to make plans. It’s cold outside but cozy inside my parent’s house. I’ve been curled up in a chair in my comfy clothes, reading a book about Atlantis and drinking pomegranate green tea all day. It’s nice :)
I have to pack for a week in Ohio, and all I want to wear in that cold weather is yoga pants, jogging suits, general sloppiness and comfort.
