Sometimes Matt talks to me in the voice of Joe Black talking to the Caribbean woman in the hospital. It’s only funny when he says “tiree.”

Let’s see, you take killer whales out of their natural habitat — the ocean — and force them to live in a fishtank. This is like you living in the closet for the rest of your life. And these are highly intelligent animals. They have self-awareness and emotions and a deep sense of family. Can you…
Diagnosis: toe ulcer. Finding out more tomorrow.
I am immediately anxious when I hear that anything could possibly be wrong with my health. I can’t stop researching Raynaud’s Syndrome on the web and hoping that I don’t have it, or if I do have it, that it is Primary Raynaud’s and not Secondary. As in secondary to some other autoimmune disease I would then be presumed to have…

Well,
I’m lazy when it is cold, plus my toe is dysfunctional and painful, plus I’m a newlywed so it’s expected…soooooo….I believe I’m commencing a weight gain phase. Hopefully I will exit this phase pre-swimsuit season. Hmmm….pizza and sitting on my couch watching The Bachelor tonight? I think yes.

Sunday Funday
Wow…it’s WARM outside. Nice! I went to brunch at Dream Cafe with my husband, then we took the doggies on a long walk while the sun was out, opened up all the windows to get fresh air circulating thoughout the house, and I watered all the plants. Now I am arranging fresh flowers for the mantle and drinking a beer. Mmmm. Happy.
Also
I’ve been a little busy since the summer, you know, just putting the finishing touches on my wedding that I planned entirely by myself (with the help of my wonderful husband whenever I asked for it). My parents don’t live here so I couldn’t have much Mom help. I didn’t have a planner until the last month to pull it all together. We wanted a traditional wedding, so I...

It would be nice if people thought about what others might be going through before they get offended by actions/inactions. Self importance/self righteousness is one of my least favorite traits. Also, everyone is different. So if someone doesn’t behave like you would behave, how about you relax and chalk it up to the fact that EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT AND IT MIGHT NOT BE ABOUT YOU.

Happy Valentines Day
We had a nice, relaxing Valentines Day. Slept in (after Matt took Gigi out at 7:30am), baked rugelach, laid on the couch watching the Olympics, and went to the mall for an hour or so. I usually make the rugelach with raspberry jam, chopped apricots, chopped walnuts, sugar, etc…but this time I used strawberry jam. Because that’s what I had in the fridge. They are pretty good, but I...

12 Reasons Why Gay Marriage Should Be Illegal
I like sarcasm!
thedailywhat:
Homosexuality is not natural, much like eyeglasses, polyester, and birth control.
Heterosexual marriages are valid because they produce children. Infertile couples and old people can’t legally get married because the world needs more children.
Obviously, gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.
Straight...
