I'm from the heartland, and I will always be a midwestern girl even as the years I've been living in Dallas fly by. These are my daily musings and interests for my family in Ohio, who I see far too little of, and for anyone else who cares what I had for dinner. Feel free to email me at jecgirlie@gmail.com.

You Can't Take the Ohio Out of the Girl

I have an appointment with an ENT at 1:00.

I’m going to ask him, in all seriousness, to look in there and tell me if I’ve had a sinus infection for 3 years. Because that’s what it has felt like. My PCP just isn’t cutting it when it comes to my sinuses anymore, and it’s time for some intervention. Hopefully I won’t need another surgery (I had one in 1998), but I’ve heard the results only last so long and it’s often repeated. Whatever, I’m just tired of questioning myself, is it a migraine or sinuses? Every week.

After my appointment I am heading to the gym to do my shoulder exercises, and then I’m going to call someone about getting acupuncture to help it heal. It’s a healthcare day, I guess.

And it’s still lovely weather outside! Yay!
