You Can't Take the Ohio Out of the Girl
We are not going to Chicago this weekend anymore.
Matthew’s lifelong friend who I mentioned a while back *may* have lymphoma, did have lymphoma. A very aggressive type. We changed our tickets yesterday and are going to New York to say goodbye. I have never been sadder about going to my favorite city. I loved D from the moment I met him. He and E and my Matthew were 3 best friends who made so many memories together over the years of their lives. As Matt said last night, “Our personalities balanced each other perfectly.” This will be a hard weekend. Right now it just seems so surreal.

I’m so sorry. Wishing you courage & strength this wknd. My friend died 2yrs ago from same disease, after beating it the year before. It’s awful.
